Centurion Community Site (CCS) is a community based website founded by Lance and co-founded by Sam (author). A single place online where you can find all the information and services in the community.

We are combining a range of services and features that, together, provide a truly all-in-one site. Here you can browse for a job just as easily as you can look for a new restaurant. You can create your own online shop and start your business, or you can use it to expand your current business.

Our goal is to help small businesses and charities in and around Centurion grow and reach their full potential. We aim to create multiple community sites, like this one, and ultimately reach all of South Africa in this way.

Our vision is for this to become the first site everyone visits when they are looking for information, products or services within the community, and to have exactly what they are looking for.

This is quite the vision, and it requires the sourcing and sorting of  a lot of information to be able to present it in the most useful manner, but it most certainly is a passion of ours and we will continuously be working towards making the site accomplish just that for the community.

How CCS Started

It all started as a little seedling of a thought in Lance’s mind at the young age of 16. He had always wanted to start community website. One where all businesses and charities alike can network and help the community flourish. He has always had the desire to help people within a community achieve their dreams and their goals.

Lance wanted to create a platform that is more than just a single entity (classifieds, business listing etc). He wanted to create a platform where all services, classifieds, business listings, charities and so forth could work together and network to help the economy within the community grow.

For the most part, Lance is the reason CCS came to be. I had a little bit of input to provide and a lot of encouragement. We would like for this community site to grow and become the success we know it can be.

And thus CCS was started.

We share information about what businesses are up to, ideas on what the community could benefit from, and fun articles on activities, guides and events happening in the community.
